No export project is too big or small. The smallest export transaction performed by Hurricane Butterfly was valued at several hundred dollars, but represented large future potential. Hurricane Butterfly’s largest export transaction exceeded a million dollars and required U.S. Congressional notification. Both transactions were treated as equal in importance, and were performed with personal attention and diligence.
The base fee for preparing the export documents is $250 plus 5% of the transaction value, with a minimum fee of $500. This fee includes all fees paid to U.S. Government Agencies, to include the U.S. State Department. For transactions exceeding $250,000 in value, or for the export of unusual items, the export fee may be negotiated. Alternate rates are available to Canadian and Australian collectors.
Delivery terms are Ex-Works Tacoma, Washington; shipping costs are not included within the fee charged to prepare the export documents. At the end of 2009, Hurricane Butterfly had a 97.8% success rate in DSP-5 export permit approvals.
