I’m coming to the United States. Can I take possession of my firearms and hand carry them home?
No. Under U.S. Federal law, a non-US resident cannot take possession of firearms. As a result, the firearms cannot be transferred directly to a foreign national.
Can you export silencers and/or machine guns?
Yes. Hurricane Butterfly is licensed to export silencers and machine guns. Nevertheless, the U.S. State Department will only allow the export of these types of firearms to military units or law enforcement agencies.
What can be exported from the United States?
Most firearms may be exported from the United States, assuming the firearms are legal within the recipient’s home country.
